Candied Aubgergines with almonds in syrup

Outside of Greece it seems a bit odd, in Greece it is very traditional: eating sweet aubergines!!! Cooked in light syrup, infused with almonds, a final touch with a hint of rose geranium and lemon juice. Every bite is full of taste ... a taste that reminds Greek of good old days.
